The Soroi Collection has announced new opening dates for its properties in Diani, Samburu, and Amboseli, marking the next chapter in the brand’s steady expansion across Kenya’s most scenic landscapes.

Soroi Blue – Diani, originally scheduled to open in February 2026, will now welcome guests on 1st June 2026. The change follows delays in international supplies but, more importantly, reflects Soroi’s decision to maintain the high standards that have defined its brand. When it opens, the new property will bring a quiet, coastal charm to the Soroi portfolio — a design-led space shaped by ocean views, natural textures, and the easy rhythm of Diani life.

Further north, Soroi Samburu Lodge, now in its second phase of construction, will remain closed until 18th June 2026. However, the team has confirmed select special opening dates to accommodate confirmed bookings: 13–15 November 2025, 19 December 2025–4 January 2026, 10–11 January 2026, and 1–3 June 2026. No construction will take place during these periods, allowing guests to enjoy the lodge’s whole experience.

Samburu’s appeal lies in its rugged, raw landscape, full of character. The lodge sits on a bluff overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River, a setting alive with the region’s unique wildlife. This is home to the “Samburu Five”: the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and beisa oryx. The updated opening dates will see the lodge return with improved guest areas, expanded decks, and a renewed focus on locally sourced sustainable materials.

In southern Kenya, Soroi Amboseli prepares to open its doors on 15th June 2026 inside Amboseli National Park. The 16-tent camp is designed to blend into the savannah, with open views toward Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. The area’s reputation for its large elephant herds and striking volcanic plains gives guests an experience that feels both personal and timeless.

All Soroi properties — including these new additions — are and will be available for booking through our Safari Quest Hotels booking engine. The platform offers real-time availability, exclusive partner rates, and direct access to the entire Soroi portfolio.

Since its early beginnings, the Soroi Collection has aimed to reflect Kenya’s natural and cultural diversity through design and experience. From Diani’s soft white beaches to Samburu’s ochre hills and Amboseli’s endless horizons, each property captures a different aspect of the country’s beauty. Together, they form a travel circuit that encourages slow exploration — not just visiting Kenya, but understanding its rhythm.

These new opening dates are part of a broader approach that values readiness over speed and authenticity over appearance. Now boasting a portfolio of ten luxury properties in Kenya, Soroi’s growth remains deliberate, shaped by a belief that meaningful travel comes from balance — between comfort and wilderness, architecture and landscape, host and guest.

Each Soroi property is designed to feel right when you’re there — quietly confident, genuinely Kenyan, and made to last. Book your stay at Soroi with us today!
